Product Description:

Our product can be used to activate coconut shell, palm shell, apricot shell, peach shell, walnut shell, bamboo, and hard miscellaneous charcoal. Materials are heated to a certain temperature range and air is limited. When the materials enter the steam activation sector of the furnace, a small amount of high-temperature steam is sprayed on the material surface. This causes the material to open its' pores, fully react with the steam, deepening and enlarging the pores to create a porous activated carbon.

Features:

The activated carbon activation furnace is composed of several systems, such as the feeding system, the converter high-temperature heating system, the steam system, the flue gas treatment system, and the cooling system.

The carbonized material is transferred to the furnace by the conveying system for high-temperature heating. When the set temperature is reached, water vapor is sprayed onto the surface of the carbonized material, creating holes into the material in its high-temperature state. It is then form into the activated carbon product. Upon cooling through the cooling system, it is then packed and stored.

Taking coconut shell charcoal as an example, the corresponding furnace body specifications with different output can be found as follows:

• φ 2.2m * 15m ; Activated carbon production: 3-4 tpd
• φ 2.0m * 18m ; Activated carbon production: 4-5 tpd
• φ 2.2m * 20m ; Activated carbon production: 5-6 tpd

It usually takes about 2-3 tons of charcoal for one ton of finished activated carbon production.
