The acid battery has the following design features

1.The electrolyte is absorbed in a microfiber silica glass mat separator (90% saturated) with a non-spill-over design.

3.The tight packaging of the positive and negative plates within the glass pad partition enables RG batteries to have lower internal resistance, greater starting power, and higher shock and vibration resistance.

4.The design of fiberglass felt to absorb electrolytes eliminates the need for hydration.

5.The fiberglass pad is designed not to reduce voidage in the viscous gel electrolyte in the gel battery.
