The buffer roller is used for the belt conveyor to reduce the impact of the falling material on the conveyor belt. Used in corrosive occasions, the service life can reach more than 5 times that of ordinary rollers.
2. Main function and scope of application
The buffer roller is light in weight and has low rotational inertia. The special polymer material for rollers is light in weight, and its specific gravity is one-seventh of steel. The weight of rollers made of this material is about one-half of ordinary rollers, with low rotational inertia, between the rollers and the belt. The friction is small. The buffer roller is installed below the receiving section of the conveyor to reduce the impact of the material on the conveyor belt during material blanking, so as to extend the service life of the conveyor belt. The spacing of the buffer rollers is generally 100-600 mm.
