3 . Features:
The main characteristic of satin is permeability, drape degree is good and can have silk-like effect in feeling. 4 . Applications:
As the surface of satin is very bright, so it is not suitable to be exposed to the sun. Insolation will make the satin lose its luster and dark color. If it is summer, it will feel very hot and stuffy. So it is suitable for places that are not in the sun for a long time.
5 .About Satin Fabric:
Satin is a fabric with a shiny surface but a dull back. As a kind of weaving technology mainly based on warp threads, the weaving point of fabric is kept at the lowest level.
Part of the definition insists on the need to weave with silk, but at present this is not inevitable. Generally speaking, in addition to the short fiber yarns such as cotton, which can be called cotton satin. With other materials, whether silk, nylon or polyester,they can all be called satin.
The general satin fabric tends to have a higher gloss, that is because the weaving fiber has more floating elements. These floating elements refer to loose fibers that are not wrapped into the yarn as the textile fiber is spun into yarn.These floating elements make it look smoother and brighter.
