3 . Differences between Plain and Twill Oxford Fabrics:

Plain or twill Oxford cloth, in fact, can be distinguished by the naked eye only. The twill Oxford cloth has obvious oblique lines, soft texture, good elasticity and good gloss; the plain twill Oxford cloth is smooth and stiff, with low elasticity and average gloss.

During the weaving process of twill Oxford cloth, there must be at least three warp yarns and three weft yarns interweaving each other. Each warp yarn and weft yarn can only have one weft warp structure point, and there are continuous weave points on the fabric surface to form diagonal lines. The yarn can be arranged densely, so the twill oxford fabric is dense and thick. In the weaving process, the plain weave Oxford fabric corresponding to the twill oxford fabric is formed by interlacing warp and weft yarns one by one. It is characterized by many interweaving points and the texture is firm, straight and smooth. The density of plain weave oxford fabric cannot be too high, it is light and thin, and it has good abrasion resistance and breathability. Plain embroidered fabrics are used for high-end embroidery fabrics, while twill oxford fabrics are mostly used for printing.

1. Differences in senses:

The gloss of nylon fabric is brighter and feels more slippery. Polyester fabric surface is darker than nylon and more rough.

2. Scrape with your nails

We can use fingernail to scrape additionally, after fingernail is scratched, have apparent trace is polyester, trace is not apparent is nylon, but this kind of method is inferior to the first kind of method intuitionistically easy to debate.
