The Carbon Fiber Airbox is made of 100% pre-impregnated carbon fiber and finished with a perfect gloss varnish. This process ensures that the adhesive material used to hold its shape is consistent in each part, creating an airbox with far greater structural integrity than factory plastic boxes and a weight reduction of nearly 40 percent. From a functional standpoint, this configuration provides a larger volume of static air in the tank and also resists compression under high demand from the turbocharger, maximizing intake air in all driving conditions . The unique shape of the Carbon Fiber Airbox also plays a very important role in the overall performance, providing a simpler and more direct path for air through the box.
