There are more than 100 employees, of which more than 30% have a bachelor's degree or above. I. Zhongshan Complord Phase (2014–2022) 1. Founding Background Zhongshan Complord New Materials Co., Ltd. was established on April 24, 2014, by a team of flame-retardant R&D experts and senior professionals in modified plastics. It positioned itself as a high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production, and sales, specializing in eco-friendly flame retardants and polymer material additives.
2. Early Growth - Officially began operations in October 2014, headquartered in Shazai Industrial Park, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, with a registered capital of RMB 15 million. The facility spanned 15,000 square meters, with a total investment of RMB 30 million.
- In 2016, the company initiated the construction of its second-phase production line, aiming to expand its annual ammonium polyphosphate (APP) capacity to 8,000 tons and total flame-retardant production to 15,000 tons.
- By 2018, annual capacity reached 16,000 tons. Its product portfolio included phosphorus-based, nitrogen-based, and intumescent flame retardants, serving industries such as fireproof coatings, electronics, and automotive materials. The company obtained ISO 9001 certification and complied with international standards like RoHS and REACH.
3. R&D Advancements - Built an R&D team of over 20 members and partnered with institutions such as the Guangzhou Institute of Chemistry (Chinese Academy of Sciences), Sun Yat-sen University, and South China University of Technology. Secured multiple patents for innovative technologies.
- Planned a new production base in the Gaolan Port National Fine Chemical Park (Zhuhai), designed for an annual capacity of 22,000 tons, laying the groundwork for future expansion.
II. Zhuhai Complord Phase (2022–Present) 1. Subsidiary Establishment & Strategic Upgrade - On October 12, 2022, Zhongshan Complord fully funded the establishment of Zhuhai Complord New Materials Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of RMB 15 million and headquarters in Nanhui Town, Jinwan District, Zhuhai. This marked the initiation of group-oriented strategic expansion.
- The Zhuhai subsidiary inherited technical expertise from Zhongshan, focusing on R&D, production, and global trade of new materials. The Gaolan Port facility gradually commenced operations, enhancing production capacity.
2. Technological Achievements - Continued innovation led to patent applications in 2023, including technologies for "high-purity piperazine pyrophosphate synthesis" and "triphenylphosphine production methods," reinforcing its industry leadership.
- In September 2024, the company obtained additional administrative permits, demonstrating compliance with regulatory standards and operational maturity.
3. Dual-Base Synergy - The Zhongshan base maintains core flame-retardant production, while the Zhuhai base leverages regional advantages to drive R&D and international market expansion, forming a "dual-engine" model of "Zhongshan R&D + Zhuhai manufacturing."
