Introduction
 
Drilling vertical cutting dryer is also known as filter centrifuges. It’s a kind of centrifugal separator that uses filtering method to separate components from suspension liquid. There are many holes on the wall of vertical cutting dryer drum, and the inner surface of drum covers filter medium. The suspension liquid added to the drum generates a huge centrifugal pressure by rotating with drum. Under pressure, the liquid in suspension flowing through filter medium and the hole in the wall of the drum is thrown away, solid is trapped on the surface of filter medium, thus we realize solids and liquids separation. The centrifugal force generated by the suspension in the rotating drum is thousands of times that of gravity, so that the filtration process is intensified and filtration speed is increased. In this process filter residue with a lower moisture content is obtained. Suspensions with solid particles larger than 0.01 mm is filtered with vertical cutting dryer.
 
TR Vertical Cutting Dryer uses centrifugal force to dry drilling solids in oil or synthetic base fluids. A stainless steel screen bowl traps “wet” solids and accelerates them up 900RPM with G force to 420G or super high speed 1200RPM with G force to 750G. It's one of the most widely used vertical centrifuges in the treatment of cuttings and waste disposal, and also very important solids control equipment in drilling waste management. It can deal with large numbers of waste sediment efficiently and quickly, and reduce oil and water content of the cuttings. After treatment, oil content (OOC) of the cuttings is below 5%. They are up to the international drilling fluid cuttings discharge standard, and meet the increasingly stringent environmental protection requirements.
