The structure of disc vacuum filter is composed of five parts: trough body, spindle, filter disk, distribution head and instantaneous blowing device. The filter medium is filter cloth, which is made of cotton, linen, silk, wool and synthetic fibers. Its working principle is that when the filter disc rotates clockwise, it passes through the filter area, the dehydration area and the cake blown area in turn, so that each sector block is connected with different areas. When the filter fan is located in the filter area, it is connected with the vacuum pump. Under the pumping action of the vacuum pump, the inner chamber of the filter fan has negative pressure, and the slurry is sucked into the filter cloth. Solid particles form filter cake on the filter cloth. The filtrate enters the inner chamber of the filter through the filter cloth and is discharged through the filter hole of the spindle, thus realizing the filtration.
When the filter fan is located in the dewatering zone, it is still connected with the vacuum pump, but at this time the filter fan has left the slurry level, so the vacuum pump's pumping function is only to let air pass through the filter cake and take away the moisture in the void, which further reduces the moisture content of the filter cake. When the filter fan enters the cake blowdown zone, it is connected with the blower. The filter cake is blown down by the blower, and the whole filtering process is completed at the same time.

In the fields of mineral processing, coal preparation, petroleum and chemical industry, where fine particles need to be filtered and fine filtration ensured, polyester-polypropylene needle-punched filter felt has far superior performance than traditional woven filter material. The needle-punched polyester-polypropylene filter felt is usually made of 3-D or 6-D polypropylene staple fibers, and reinforced fabric is woven with polyester-polypropylene high-strength filament (polyester-polypropylene monofilament), which is reinforced by needling, calendering and heat setting.
Scope of application: Polyester-polypropylene needle-punched filter felt is mainly used in liquid-solid separation in metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry, coal washery, concentrator, ceramics factory and other industries.
