Lightning Protection 19mm Earth Rod with Copper Plating
Copper clad steel ground rod are made of high-quality steel covered with 99.9% electrolytic copper molecular. The steel core is low carbon content is about 0.15%. It is a very uniform copper layer and a thickness of 0.254mm or more.
Products have the conductive properties of copper and the tensile strength of steel. Since the copper layer and steel material is a binding molecule, the copper layer is not easily peeled off, and will not crack when bent in operation.
The copper layer is bonded to a steel core through an electrolytic process that ensures a perfect and tough bonding between the steel and the copper the ground rods are fully covered with copper without any cracks, holes, cavities etc.and prevent exposure of the steel core to soil and moisture. Therefore it can resist corrosion better and has the capacity of being driven to great depths.
Copper coating is consistent throughout, meaning it does not splinter or peel when a conductor is bent.
The copper and steel bar form a molecular bond that won't break down when it comes into contact with the soil, giving the grounding bar superior corrosion resistance and sturdiness with a work life of more than 30 years even in varied soil conditions.
