New High Quality Standard

The JV3 uses a 720 x 720 dpi piezo printhead(3 print heads in-line)to print large-scale graphics and banner ads for indoor and outdoor applications. For the first time,six colors(C M Y K Lc Lm) and a variable dot system, produces photo quality output with new solvent inks.

New Solvent Ink

Newly developed Mimaki JV3 Quick Dry Solvent Ink adheres to inexpensive uncoated media, such as PVC(with or w/o adhesive),Vinyl Banners. This new solvent ink is supplied in safe handling, reliable and easy maintenance ink cartridges that allows for rapid ink exchanges with no mess. (Nozzles are automatically kept clean 24 hours per day using the JV3 Auto Cleaning System.)

Automatic Take-up Device

An Automatic Take-up Device is included as standard equipment. The combination of adjustable media tension and the JV3 Quick-Dry Solvent Ink allows for round-the-clock operation. This saves labor costs and allows for continuous, unattended printing.

Automatic setting of optimum heating temperature for media

Intelligent heating system automatically sets optimum media heating temperatures specified in the software RIP media profile settings.

Intelligent heater control mechanisms

This system controls heaters according to the condition of plotter-stand-by mode, save mode, power-off and also adjusts and corrects temperatures automatically, based on the ambient temperature.
