Product Description
Grade 316 stainless steel is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel alloy with a thickness typically ranging from 5 mm to over 80 mm. It contains molybdenum, This addition enhances its corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride-rich environments, making it suitable for marine applications and environments where exposure to corrosive agents is common."Hot-rolled" signifies that the stainless steel is processed at elevated temperatures, typically above the recrystallization temperature, during the rolling process. Hot rolling is done to achieve the desired thickness and surface finish. This process can impart certain metallurgical properties and improve the mechanical characteristics of the material.
Features:
-> Corrosion Resistance: Similar to other 316 stainless steel products, hot-rolled plate made from grade 316 stainless steel offers excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in harsh environments containing chlorides and acids.
