How wood grain transfer works

Wood grain transfer profiles refer to powder spraying or electrophoretic coating, according to the principle of high temperature sublimation and thermal penetration, through heating and pressure, the wood grain pattern on the transfer paper or transfer film is quickly transferred and penetrated onto the profiles that have been sprayed or electrophoresed. The produced wood grain profile has a clear texture, strong three-dimensional effect, and can better reflect the natural feeling of wood grain. It is an ideal energy-saving and environmentally friendly material to replace traditional wood.

Wood grain transfer workflow

The processed profiles are first subjected to surface background spraying treatment.

Choose customized wood grain paper to wrap the transferred aluminum and sheet metal, and fix the interface of the paper with high temperature resistant adhesive tape to prevent the wood grain paper from loosening.

Cover it with a tubular plastic bag with high temperature resistance and good sealing performance, and then vacuumize from both ends of the plastic bag until the plastic bag can fully and effectively adhere to the substrate.

The aluminum and sheet metal wrapped with wood grain paper are baked. The baking temperature and the length of time should be adjusted according to the characteristics of the substrate to be transferred and the depth of the surface texture to be transferred.

Take out the baked material, tear off the thermal transfer paper, and clean the surface.
