Telescopic Boom/Sliding Arm Overview
Sliding arms are essential for digging deep wells, foundation pits, tunnels, and sewage pipelines, serving various municipal needs.
Established in 2018, our company has accumulated over 6 years of experience. Our engineers have more than 10 years of expertise in designing and customizing long arms for a range of excavator brands.
Our product is designed to be compatible with all models of excavators, and we offer comprehensive OEM services.
We utilize an advanced manufacturing process that complies with international standards.
We maintain installation dimensions for most excavators, enabling us to customize this long arm to fit your specific needs.
Before welding, we employ a large milling machine to mill the edges of steel plates, ensuring the weld penetrates deeply for enhanced structural integrity. We also add reinforcement plates inside for additional strength.
If needed, we can install additional pipes for specific applications.
You can save costs by using your original arm cylinder with our long boom; we can also supply a new cylinder if required.
Certain components can be reinforced with thicker plates or by overlapping additional plates for heavy-duty applications.
We practice shielded gas welding, using a mixture of 80% argon and 20% carbon dioxide, recognized as the industry standard.
EXCAVATORS WITH A TELESCOPIC ARM
(UPPER ARM SLIDING TYPE)
1. Thanks to the hydraulic sliding system in this model, the arm contracts and expands (‘telescopes’) speedily, providing high working efficiency.
2. Sliding mechanisms using rollers on the slide surfaces makes adjustment easy and prevents vertical and horizontal vibrations of the arm, which in turn minimises the wear which shortens arm life.
3. With the arm extended, the excavator can dig to the same depth as machines three (3) classes higher, so this becomes a useful attachment for restricted job sites where a wide working range is needed.

What is the purpose of beveling the long arm/tunnel arm plate?
Most welding machines commonly used in the industry have a penetration depth of only 3mm. Since the thickness of our long arm plate is at least 8mm, without beveling, the welder would not be able to fully penetrate through the entire joint. This would result in weak welds, leading to issues such as weld cracking in the future.
We employ mechanical beveling, whereas other factories rely on manual beveling (as shown in the figure).
