Laminar flow hood is one of the devices that can shield the operator from the product. Its main purpose is to avoid product contamination. The air drawn from the clean room is then filtered vertically through the operating area using HEPA filter using a fan installed in the top plenum to provide ISO 5 (class 100) unidirectional air flow for critical areas.
