The structure of the GYXTY fiber optic cable is to insert the single mode or multimode fibers into a loose tube made of high modulus plastic and filled with water blocking compounds. Outside the loose tube, there are two parallel steel wires twisted by 12 phosphide wires ( as for non-metallic structure, the wires can be changed to the FRP fiber glass reinforced plastic ) , and the water blocking cable between the stranded steel wire and the loose tube ensures the compact and longitudinal water resistance of the optical cable, and finally, the MDPE sheath is extruded to form the completed fiber cable. Water proof ointment filled in the space of the cable prevents longitudinal water ingress. It is without armour so it is with light weight and easy for transportation and installation.
