MPO/MTP fiber optic jumper can provide a variety of applications for all networks and devices that require 100G modules. They used the MT series design of high density and multi-mode optical fiber connector system. The MPO/MTP fiber patch cords are with UPC and APC polished end, and support multi-mode and single-mode applications. With VCSEL laser and its LED light source, 10G OM3 /OM4 MPO / MTP optical fiber jumper can provide 10Gbps data transmission rate in high bandwidth applications, which is 5 times faster than the standard 50um optical fiber patch cord.

At the same time, the multimode MPO/MTP fiberoptic jumper is also a more economical choice for most of common optical fiber communication systems. The single mode MPO/MTP fiber patch cord is mainly used for the data transmission system in the long distance. The MPO/MTP backbone fiber jumper is designed for the application of the data center. Usually, single-mode and multi-mode MPO / MTP optical fiber patch cords will be designed as outer diameter 3mm or 4.5mm round cable, and the two ends of the cable will also be called MPO / MTP connector.

At present, the MPO/MTP high-density push/pull fiber optic jumper is mainly used in three aspects: high density cabling data center, fiber to the home, and connection with PLC splitter, 40G/100G QSFP+, SFP+ and other optical transceivers. Nowadays, a series of high-density parallel optical interconnect products can adapt to the optical transmission of modern data centers. For example, there are custom MPO/ MTP optical fiber patch cords, multi-mode optical looper and QSFP+ high-speed cable assemblies.
