How to laying FTTH drop cable? If it is vertical laying, fix the FTTH drop cable from up to down, fix every 1.5m. If it is horizontal laying, fix both ends and turning point and very 5 to 10 meters.
When laying the fiber optic drop cable, the tensile strength cannot exceed 80% of the allowable crushing strength. The short term tensile cannot exceed 100N. If it is two drop cables, cannot exceed 1.5 times of the tensile and when is it 3 cables, cannot exceed 2 times. And so on, N cables cannot exceed (1+N)/2 times. After the fiber optic drop cable is laid, the tension should be released to keep the natural bending station.
The minimum bending radius should meet the below requirement during laying the FTTH drop cable: 1, Cannot smaller than 40mm during installation; 2, Cannot smaller than 15mm after fixing; 3, The turning point should be evenly rounded and the bending radius should larger than 30mm (bending sensitive) or 40mm (ordinary).
Reserved fiber length of both end of the ftth drop cable should meet the below requirements: Floor fiber distribution reserve 0.2m and the end user terminal box reserve 0.3m. If it is outdoor wall mounted or overhead, it should use self-supporting drop cable and the steel wire should be appropriate tighten and fixed. FTTH drop cable cannot be immersed in water so it cannot be laid underground directly.
