Silver fireproof bag is heat reflective and waterproof. The outside reflective silver layer is aluminium foil fiberglass cloth, inside red layer is polyester fabric. Fibergllass fabric is fire resistant and heat resistant. Silver surface can resists 95% heat it was exposed to.
The out layer aluminium foil fiberglass fabric is made of 430gsm basic fiberglass cloth laminated with aluminium foil by high temperature adhesive. The basic fiberglass fabric is able to withstand 1022°F.
Fiberglass fabric is a eco-friendly material which is fire resistant, chemical resistant and abrasion resistant. However, in other application of this fabric, there is a common problem: glass fibers will fall off and stick into human skins when people touch them for a long time, because the fibers are too tiny and very high strength. So many customers complained in Amazon and Ebay reviews that they felt hurt on hands when use the fireproof bag made of fiberglass cloth.
When customers use Unionfull's aluminium foil fireproof bags, they won't feel any hurt or irritating on hands because we add an layer of aluminum foil on the fiberglass cloth to avoid direct touch. This small size 7x11" bag is mainly used to protect cash or passport. If you want a bigger size for A4 papers and documents, 11x15 inches or 11x15x2.5 inches will be suitable.
