With the rapid development of outdoor lighting, especially entering the LED outdoor functional lighting mainly includes street lights, tunnel lights, courtyard lights, high-pole lights, etc. These outdoor lighting devices need to address various issues during their normal use. These issues may include the equipment's weather resistance, waterproof performance, wind resistance, dustproof effect, corrosion resistance, high and low temperature resistance, ultraviolet radiation resistance, vibration stability, electromagnetic interference resistance, and the convenience of maintenance and care.

• Outdoor lighting equipment needs to have good weather resistance, able to operate normally under different climate conditions without being affected by adverse weather such as rain, snow, or hail.
• The equipment should possess excellent waterproof performance to prevent water from infiltrating the internal circuits, causing short circuits or damage.
• The dustproof effect is equally important for outdoor lighting equipment because dust can affect the device's heat dissipation, thereby impacting its performance and lifespan.
• Corrosion resistance is also crucial because various corrosive gases or liquids may exist in outdoor environments, and the equipment needs to resist these corrosive factors to maintain stable operation over the long term.
• High and low temperature resistance is another essential quality for outdoor lighting equipment since it may be exposed to extreme temperature conditions; whether high or low temperatures, it should be able to maintain a stable working state.

To address the aforementioned issues, the traditional solution for LED outdoor lighting fixtures has been to fully seal the lamp housing to prevent rainwater from entering and contaminating the components. However, since outdoor lighting fixtures generate a significant amount of heat during operation, the gas inside the cavity expands and contracts due to temperature changes, creating a substantial pressure difference that cannot be released. Over time, this can lead to premature aging of the sealed structure and a shortened lifespan of the outdoor lighting fixture. Meanwhile, the transparent lens makes condensation more pronounced, making an effective waterproof and breathable solution for outdoor lighting fixtures even more urgent.

Instructions for Use:

• Ensure that the temperature of the waterproof and breathable product and the shell is above 10°C.
• When using the waterproof and breathable product, please wear gloves or use a rounded-tip tweezer to avoid direct contact with sharp objects on the waterproof and breathable product.
• The installation surface should be clean, free from oil, particles, and other contaminants. 
• The waterproof and breathable product should be installed on a flat, vertical surface to prevent liquids or other contaminants from accumulating.
• When using an automatic installation machine, please follow the machine's instructions.
• For manual installation of the product, roll the release paper underneath the waterproof and breathable product until it peels off easily from the release paper to a state that is easy to pick up.
• Avoid prying the product off the release paper or folding the product, as this may damage it. 
• Pure membrane type waterproof and breathable products can be installed on either the inner or outer surface of the shell. Products with a support layer series can only be installed on the inner surface of the shell, with the side containing the breathable membrane facing outwards (towards the liquid).
