Properties of alloy 8011 aluminum coil
Alloy 8011 is grouped under code 8. EN-AW 8011 thus entails, in addition to the main component of aluminum, mainly the alloying elements iron and silicon. Alloy 8011 is non-toxic, hygienic, odorless, tasteless, corrosion-resistant and extremely resistant to deformation in the soft state, and widely used in many areas, one is air - to - air hear exchanger fins.
Aluminum is used for micro - channel heat exchangers, fin and tube heat exchnager, and ventilation.
Why aluminum coil in HVAC coils?
HVAC coils are made with two metals aluminum and copper for efficiently heat transfer. In most HVAC coils, tubes bear 30% of the heat transfer while fins are 70 %. Aluminum offers effective heat transfer at a lower cost than copper, so aluminum coil as HVAC fins. Copper is has better heat transfer and is easier to repair than aluminum, so tubes in HVAC coils are made of copper.
