Properties of Marine Grade Aluminum:
Alloy 5083 plate is known for its exceptional strength and performance in extreme environments. 5083 aluminum plate has exceptional thermal conductivity and higher strength than 5052. 5083 aluminum plate is resistant to attack by both sea water and harsh industrial chemical environments. It retains exceptional strength after welding and performs superbly during laser cutting. It has the highest strength of the non-heat treatable alloys.
