Advantages of copper clad aluminum wire:
The copper-clad aluminum wire is produced by the international advanced cladding welding process. The copper layer is made of refined copper with a purity of more than 99.97%. The copper layer has high density and good electrical conductivity; The layers are evenly distributed along the circumferential direction and longitudinal direction, and the concentricity is good.
Under the condition of the same weight and diameter between the copper-clad aluminum wire and the pure steel wire, the length ratio of the copper-clad aluminum wire to the pure copper wire is 2.6:1, which greatly reduces the production cost of the cable. The purchase of 1 ton of copper-clad aluminum wire is equivalent to Purchased 2.6 tons of pure copper wire, which can greatly reduce the cost of raw materials.
Copper-clad aluminum wire is less valuable to thieves than pure copper wire because it is nearly impossible to separate the copper cladding from the aluminum core. Therefore, an additional anti-theft effect can be received.
It is more malleable than copper wire, and does not form insulating oxides like aluminum, so it is easier to process. And better conductivity.
Copper-clad aluminum wire is light in weight, easy to transport and install. Labor costs can thus also be reduced.
