Double Armored Double Sheathed Stranded Outdoor Optical Cable GYTA53

 

Description

The cable construction involves fibers placed in a high-modulus plastic loose tube filled with a water-resistant

compound. A steel wire, sometimes sheathed with polyethylene for high fiber count cables, acts as the metallic

strength member at the core. Tubes and fillers are stranded around the strength member to form a compact,

circular cable core. This core is filled with a compound to protect against water ingress, followed by the applic-

ation of a thin PE inner sheath. Finally, a PSP is longitudinally applied over the inner sheath, completing the

cable with a PE outer sheath.

     barrier.

  D PSP Moisture-Proofing: Longitudinal application of Polyethylene (PSP) enhances moisture-proofing.

  E Water-Blocking Material: Incorporates water-blocking materials to further ensure protection against water
