Description
The cable construction involves placing 250μm fibers in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic, filled
with a water-resistant compound. A non-metallic strength member (FRP) is located in the core, and tubes
are stranded around it to form a compact circular cable core. An Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL)
protects against water ingress. The cable core is then covered with a thin PE inner sheath, and PSP is
longitudinally applied over it. Finally, the cable is completed with a PE outer sheath for overall protection.
