ER5356 aluminum welding wire is an aluminum-magnesium alloy welding wire, mainly used for welding 5xxx series aluminum alloys (such as 5052, 5083, 5086, 5456, etc.).

Aluminum (Al): Remainder
Magnesium (Mg): 4.5-5.5%
Manganese (Mn): 0.05-0.20%
Chromium (Cr): 0.05-0.20%
Other elements: trace impurities such as iron (Fe), silicon (Si), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn)
2. Characteristics
Strength: High magnesium content, high strength of welded joints, suitable for high-strength structural welding.
