Reducer - 2" spigot * 3/4" spigot , one of the most useful plumbing fittings in a massage hot tub / SPA. It can connect two different diameters of pipe,from 2 inch to 3/4 inch water system.
These fittings are slightly different than couplings, although couplings can also connect two pipes of different sizes. Bushings, unlike couplings, tend to have threaded ends, although some models do have slip ends. This allows for a tight seal without the need to use an adhesive product.
The reducer works well in situations where the pipes may need to be removed or replaced regularly and flow or pipe size needs reduced.
