Horizontal screw decanter centrifuge is a kind of horizontal screw unloading, continuous operation settlement equipment. The main component include the horizontal bowl and screw, frame, hood, two drive motors, gearbox, etc.

The working principle of this type of centrifuge is: the drum and the screw rotate at a certain differential speed in the same direction and at a high speed, the feeding liquid is continuously introduced into the inner drum of the conveying screw by the feeding pipe, and enters the drum after acceleration. Under the action of the centrifugal force field, the heavier solid phase deposits on the drum wall to form the sediment layer. The conveying screw continuously pushes the deposited solids to the cone end of the drum, and then discharges them out of the machine through the slag discharge port. The two liquid phases forms an inner liquid ring, because the different density of the two phase liquid and the centrifugal force, the two phase liquid will stratify, the light liquid is inner layer, the heavy liquid is in the between of the light liquid and solid wall. The two phase liquid overflow the drum continuously from the overflow port at the big end of the drum, and is discharged out of the machine through the discharge port. The machine can continuously feed, separate, wash and discharge materials at full speed. It is characterized by compact structure, continuous operation, stable operation, strong adaptability, large production capacity and convenient maintenance.
