Dimeryl diisocyanate (DDI) is one specialty isocyanate, featuring low toxicity, no yellowing, soluble in most of the organic solvents, low water sensitivity and low viscosity.
Besides being applied in the propellant, DDI is projected to have bright application potential in the field of textile treatment, elastomer, adhesive, sealing agent, printing ink etc.
DDI based polyurea coating features excellent adhesion property between coating and metal. The ordinary isocyanate based coating will break when the metal bends, while the DDI based polyurea coating will not break as it has very good adhesion to the metal.
