CBN grinding wheels are generally divided into the following types.

CBN has a higher hardness than ordinary abrasives. High hardness means better cutting ability and sharper; CBN has high wear resistance, which means it is harder to wear than ordinary abrasives; the ability to maintain the shape of the abrasive grain is one of the main characteristics of CBN as a high performance abrasive; CBN has high compressive strength, which means it can keep the grain intact and not break easily when used under harsh conditions; CBN has good thermal conductivity, which allows cold cutting during grinding.
Diamond Lapping Disc CBN grinding wheel
Diamond grinding disc can efficiently grind sapphire, silicon carbide, tungsten steel, cemented carbide, superalloy and other materials.
There are two kinds of diamond lapping discs: resin bond and ceramic bond.

CBN grinding wheel features.
1. The hardness of CBN grinding wheel is much higher than that of ordinary abrasive grinding wheel, so it has better cutting ability and sharper compared with ordinary grinding wheel.
2. CBN grinding wheels are high temperature resistant and thermally stable, CBN can withstand high temperature of 1250-1350 degrees Celsius, which is higher than diamond's heat resistance of 800 degrees Celsius. When grinding and cutting ferrous materials, there is no sticky chip phenomenon. 3.
3. Good thermal conductivity: CBN thermal conductivity can reach tens to hundreds of times of corundum grinding wheels, so it can export the grinding heat quickly and reduce the thermal deformation of the workpiece. It is very suitable for grinding materials with low thermal conductivity.
4. Good grinding performance and good surface quality. Since CBN grinding wheels can maintain the sharpness of the micro-edges of abrasive grains for a long time, it will make the machining accuracy and surface roughness value of the workpiece to be machined reach a more desirable effect, so it can increase the durability of the workpiece by 10%-30%.
5. CBN grinding wheel High working efficiency, long dressing cycle, less dressing volume, long replacement time, and good overall economic benefits.
6. CBN grinding wheels are not suitable for grinding cemented carbide, and CBN will chemically react with alkaline aqueous solution under high grinding temperature, so it is better to use oil-based coolant than water-soluble coolant.
