ST-17 Eggshell (Meat Products) Color Tester (Portable)
The ST-17 eggshell (meat product) color analyzer adopts an automatic calibration method, with more than 30 measurement parameters and 26 standard light sources; The eggshell color analyzer can automatically calibrate, remove gloss measurement, and measure 30 measurement indicators such as whiteness and yellowness. It has good repeatability and can be certified by the metrology institute.
Eggshell colors can be white, light brown, brown, dark brown, and cyan. Some people prefer red shell eggs, while others prefer green shell eggs, believing that they have higher nutritional value. The color of eggshells comes from the final processing of eggs in the reproductive tract of hens - pigments secreted by the uterine epithelium, such as ovoporphyrin providing brown and biliverdin providing green. The specific pigment secreted first depends on the genotype of the hen. Secondly, it depends on postnatal factors such as the diet and health of the mother hen. The age and health status of hens can also have a certain impact on the color of eggshells.
