Hunan Xiang Yi Laboratory Instrument Co., Ltd.(hereinafter called Xiang Yi) is a hi-tech enterprise specialized in the manufacturing of centrifuges as well as lab instruments with a history over 50 years. China’s first Ultra Refrigerated Centrifuge(55000r/min) and first high-speed centrifuge (20000r/min) were made in Xiang Yi .
The company has passed the quality system certification by UK SGS and ISO9001: 2008, ISO13485:2012+AC:2012 : Certificate of Quality Management System for Medical device by German TUV respectively , assuring the stability and reliability of the product quality for 15 years effective operation.
The centrifuge technology developed by Xian Yi is at the leading level in China due to the technical cooperation with TOMY in Japan and BECKMAN in the USA during 80s and 90s of the last century.
The super capacity of 6x1000ml angle rotor and 6x2400ml swing rotor both have successfully passed the rotor service life test by the USA authority, which surpassed the US standard . This indicates that the performance of Xiang Yi Centrifuges have reached the international advanced level.
Along with the improvement of centrifuge technology and industry visibility, Xiang Yi is developing and expanding the product sales from domestic to overseas markets, such as USA, Germany, Japan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan ,Turkey, India, Mexico, Vietnam and more than 100 countries.
In order to meet the market demand, in 2006 Xiang Yi made giant investment to establish an RD and manufacturing center in Changsha, the capital city of Hunan, covering building area of 20,000 square meters, in which a special centrifuge test room, aging room, noise test room, explosion laboratory, debugging room and professional centrifuge assembly lines have been set up, promoting annual production capacity from 20 000 sets to 80 000 sets.
All the performance tests can be conducted within the company. Xiang Yi has jointly established an R&D center of laboratory instruments with famous universities. bringing together senior talents in this field. Xiang Yi has become well-known domestic production base of lab instruments.

1972, China`s first Ultra Refrigerated Centrifuge(50000r/min) and first high-speed centrifuge (22000r/min) were successfully developed in Xiangyi .
1981 to 1989,GL-20A high-speed centrifuge was developed and put into mass production in cooperation with TOMY.
1987 to 1990, Xiangxi Instrument General Factory was relocated to Changsha and renamed Hunan Instrument General Factory
1990 to 1998,large capacity refrigerated centrifuge was put into mass production in cooperation with BECKMAN.
2001, Centrifuge branch factory under Hunan Instrument General Factory was restructured and converted into a joint-stock company ----Xiangyi Centrifuge and Instrument Co.,Ltd. located in Changsha High & New-tech Development Zone.
2003 , Xiangyi passed the SGS & ISO9001: 2008 international quality system certification.
2005, passed the TUV ISO13485: 2012 medical device quality system certification and CE product certification.
2005, unprecedentedly won a single bid for 256 sets of high-speed refrigerated centrifuges and 960 sets low-speed centrifuges .
2007,relocated to Xiangyi Industry Park in Wangcheng district of Hunan, and Xiangyi Laboratory Instrument Development Co.,Ltd.was established.
2010, one million RMB yuan was invested to build ERP and PDM Information Data Management System. 2011, a new generation of intelligent centrifuge was put into production(touch screen, automatic lock system) 2013,a new generation of driving system was introduced , (self-locking and easy installation ) 2016, annual sales volume achieved more than 15 000 sets, and sales value more than 100 million RMB yuan. Xiangyi has become China's largest centrifuge production base. 2016,50 million RMB yuan was invested to build Xiangyi Industry Park, including newly-built 2nd workshop covering more than 20,000 square meters 2017, jointly developed with an aerospace institute for a specialized space –station centrifuge 2017, fully-automatic medical centrifuge was introduced to the market.

| Service: | As laboratory centrifuge is a relatively complex product, even with exquisite manufaturing and high demanding assembling, there is still very few accidental product failure due to various reasons. According to our records, very most of the issues can be fixed under our technician's guidance. While some of them can be solved by changing the failed accessories.
