★History of Laminated Tube in Dental:
Toothpaste is a kind of essential dental care product, with the growing category and growing function of toothpaste, great changes have taken place in toothpaste tube packaging.
Toothpaste tube packaging made of Tin-lead material at first until the 1960s when began to use aluminum tube packaging. Due to the technical limitations, aluminum tubes have been the only option for toothpaste packaging for a long time.
Until the late 1980s, Chinese domestic toothpaste production has nearly been 1 billion, not only satisfied the needs of the domestic market, and some exports. During this period, the functional toothpaste also accelerated the pace of development, various drugs toothpaste emerged with the increasing requirement of both the prevention and cleaning of dental care. However, some spots and other quality problems happened soon in aluminum tube drug toothpaste packaging because some of the ingredients contained in the drug toothpaste will react with the aluminum tube.
In the early 1990s, Sanying in Shanghai chose composite tube as toothpaste packaging, and introduced composite tube manufacturing equipment from Switzerland, became the first person to try tomato. At the end of 1993, with the continuous decrease of the total thickness of composite sheet and the aluminum foil layer, the prices of aluminum plastic laminated tube has been sharply lower. Other domestic toothpaste manufacturers have begun using aluminum plastic laminated tube packaging. Aluminum plastic laminated tube toothpaste market share has reached 60% to 70% at that time.
