7. Heat Sink
Heat management is crucial for LED flood lights. The heat sink helps dissipate heat generated by the light source and the driver, ensuring that the light operates at optimal temperatures. Proper heat dissipation extends the life of the light and maintains its performance.
8. Gaskets and Seals
These components provide waterproof and dustproof protection by sealing the joints and seams of the flood light. Gaskets and seals are essential for outdoor flood lights to prevent moisture or dirt from entering the housing.
9. Electrical Components
These include the wiring, connectors, capacitors, and circuit boards that make up the internal electrical system. They ensure the flood light operates properly and can handle power surges, voltage fluctuations, and other electrical challenges.
10. Cooling System
In addition to the heat sink, some high-powered flood lights may have an additional cooling system (active cooling fans or passive cooling techniques) to ensure the light source does not overheat during prolonged use.
