Alloy pipe is a kind of seamless steel pipe, and its performance is much higher than that of ordinary seamless steel pipe. Because this kind of steel pipe contains more Cr, its high temperature, low temperature and corrosion resistance performance is incomparable with that of ordinary seamless steel pipe, so alloy pipe is widely used in petroleum, aerospace, chemical, electric power, boiler, military and other industries.

 

Alloy pipe is a kind of seamless steel pipe, which is divided into structural seamless pipe and high-pressure heat-resistant alloy pipe. It is mainly different from the production standard and industry of alloy pipe. Annealing and tempering of alloy pipe can change its mechanical properties. Meet the required processing conditions. Its performance is higher than that of ordinary seamless steel pipes. The chemical composition of alloy pipes contains more Cr, and they are resistant to high temperature, low temperature and corrosion. Ordinary carbon seamless tubes contain no alloy components or few alloy components. Alloy tubes are widely used in petroleum, aerospace, chemical, power, boiler, military and other industries because their mechanical properties are easy to adjust due to many changes.

 

Classification of alloy pipes:

Palladium alloy tube is used for separation of hydrogen and impurities.

The principle of hydrogen purification by palladium tube is that when the hydrogen to be purified is introduced into one side of the palladium tube at 300-500 ℃, the hydrogen is adsorbed on the palladium tube wall. Since the 4d electron layer of palladium lacks two electrons, it can form an unstable chemical bond with hydrogen (the reaction between palladium and hydrogen is reversible). Under the action of palladium, hydrogen is ionized into protons with a radius of 1.5 × 1015m, while the lattice constant of palladium is 3.88 × 10 - 10m (at 20 ℃), so the proton can combine with the electron and form the hydrogen molecule again through the palladium tube under the action of palladium, and escape from the other side of the palladium tube. On the surface of the palladium tube, the undissociated gas is impermeable, so high-purity hydrogen can be obtained by using the palladium tube. Although palladium has a unique permeability to hydrogen, pure palladium has poor mechanical properties. It is easy to be oxidized at high temperatures, and its recrystallization temperature is low. It is easy to deform and embrittle palladium tubes, so pure palladium cannot be used as a permeability membrane. The mechanical properties of palladium can be improved by adding appropriate amount of IB and Ⅷ elements into palladium to make palladium alloys. 11. However, the tensile strength of the osmotic membrane will decrease with the increase of temperature. Therefore, the operating temperature of palladium tube is usually controlled at about 450 ℃. Some impurities can cause palladium poisoning, deteriorate the permeability, and even damage the membrane. Substances that can cause palladium poisoning include mercury, arsenide, halide, oil vapor, sulfur and ammonia containing substances and dust. Palladium alloys can be made into tubes (called palladium tubes) or membranes (called palladium membranes).
