Safe, reliable and durable structure
Process sealing
The design of the 2088 model ensures that the transmitter can operate safely even if the sensor diaphragm is damaged or malfunctioning. The electronic circuit side (room) has two stages of sealing and process isolation, while the third stage of sealing achieves isolation from the on-site wiring terminals and conduit inlet. The design and position of the process seal make the transmitter housing withstand pressure and prevent process impurities from entering through the conduit on the wiring terminal side.
Double chamber structure shell
The 2088 model inherits the design tradition of the Rosemount 1151 model and is designed with a dual chamber housing. The dual chamber housing isolates the electronic circuit from the external environment, preventing damage to the transmitter due to humidity or condensation in the wiring duct. Generally, sealing of conduit is not required. In addition, even when the sensor membrane head is completely damaged, the dual chamber junction
The structure can also ensure that the wiring terminals and conduit are isolated from the process.
Sensor membrane head
The isolation diaphragm transmits pressure to the polycrystalline silicon sensor, which is filled with silicone oil or inert liquid. For gauge pressure transmitters, the reference pressure of the sensor is atmospheric pressure; For absolute pressure transmitters, the reference pressure of the sensor is a sealed vacuum reference source
The process pressure is applied to the sensing diaphragm of the sensor, causing a small deformation of the diaphragm. This applies a stress to the Wheatstone bridge inside the sensor, causing the bridge to undergo a strain resistance change. The resistance change is measured and converted into a digital signal for processing by the microprocessor.
Electronic circuit board module
The electronic circuit adopts ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) and surface packaging technology. After receiving the digital signal and correction coefficient from the sensor film head, the electronic board corrects and linearizes the signal. The output circuit of the electronic board outputs an analog signal after completing the digital/analog conversion. For the intelligent type, the output circuit also has a HART communication function, allowing the 2088 intelligent transmitter to communicate with the control system of the HART protocol or the AMS device management system
The data storage configuration data is stored in the permanent EEPROM memory of the electronic circuit board. The data of the transmitter can still be saved after power outage, so the transmitter can work as soon as it is powered on
Software features of the 2088 intelligent model
The use of the HART communication protocol makes it easy to perform configuration testing and specific settings on the 2088 intelligent model.
