Features

1. The TPS 52-D01 turbocharger consists of a mixed-flow turbine and a radial compressor, and the internal bearings are lubricated by engine oil;
2. A single machine can be equipped with 500-3000kw high-speed diesel engine and gas engine;
3. Internally supported semi-floating plain bearings with cooled and non-cooled housing designs;
4. A constant pressure mixing turbine is used to increase the volume flow through the nozzle ring through pulse application;
5. The compressor impeller adopts rear inclined splitter blades to provide pressure in three different periods;
6. T/C comprehensive efficiency is 62%-64%, maximum pressure ratio is 4.5;
7. TPS 52-D01 turbocharger has compact structure and easy maintenance. It is widely used in marine diesel engine auxiliary generator sets or engine sets, etc.

TPS series

The ABB TPS turbocharger is a mixed-flow turbocharger, featuring a single-stage mixed-flow turbine combined with a centrifugal compressor. Employing an inner support semi-floating sliding bearing and an external lubricating oil system, it ensures smooth and reliable operation. The air intake housing offers flexibility, allowing rotation at 15° intervals to accommodate various installation angles, while the turbine housing can freely rotate at 22.5° intervals.

This series of turbochargers offers a flow range of 0.7 to 5m3/s and a compression ratio range of 2.0 to 4.5, achieving an impressive total efficiency of 64%. With a single turbocharger capable of meeting the demands of high-speed diesel engines ranging from 500kW to 3000kW, it presents a versatile solution for diverse applications.
