MFS1S50-H015V mellanox AOC cable Product Description
The Mellanox MFS1S50-H015V is a 10-meter long Active Optical Cable (AOC) designed for use with InfiniBand and Ethernet interconnects. It features a QSFP+ connector on one end and an SFP+ connector on the other end.
MFS1S50-H015V AOC cable is compatible with Mellanox switches, adapters, and other networking equipment. It supports data transfer rates of up to 56 Gb/s over the InfiniBand interface and up to 10 Gb/s over the Ethernet interface.
The use of AOC cables eliminates the need for separate optical transceivers and patch cords, simplifying installation and reducing power consumption. Additionally, AOC cables offer superior signal integrity and reliability compared to copper cables over longer distances.
