Working Principle of Induction Melting Furnace
Induction melting furnace take advange of the principle of induction between electricity and magnet. Electricity generates a magnetic field and magnetic field generates electricity. Resonance action happens between the induction ring and the capacitor, As a result, an alternating current is generated, and the alternating current creates an alternating magnetic field. The alternating magnetic field makes the electrons inside the metal material move in alternating directions, thus generating electron eddy.
The electrons collide and the heat produced gradually increases until it reaches the melting point of the metal material. This is the principle of Thyristor serial-connected resonant medium frequency induction melting furnace.
