Various reverse osmosis equipment membrane modules have an allowable pH value range, and the pH value of the influent has little effect on the water production; but even within the allowable range, the pH value has a greater impact on the desalination rate. On the one hand, the pH value has a great impact on the product The conductivity of water also has a certain influence. This is because most of the reverse osmosis membranes themselves have some active groups. The pH value can affect the electric field on the surface of the reverse osmosis equipment membrane and thus affect the migration of ions. Morphology has a direct effect, as for dissociable organics, the retention rate decreases with decreasing pH.
The recovery rate has a great influence on the pressure drop of each section. Under the condition that the total influent flow rate remains constant, the recovery rate increases. Due to the decrease in the concentrated water flow through the high-pressure side of the reverse osmosis equipment, the total pressure drop decreases and the recovery rate decreases. , the total pressure drop increases, and the actual operation shows that even if the recovery rate changes very little, such as 1%, the total pressure difference will change about 0.02MPa. Since the dissolved CO2 in water is greatly affected by the pH value, it exists in the form of gaseous CO2 when the pH value is low, and it is easy to pass through the reverse osmosis membrane, so the desalination rate is also lower when the pH is low. The desalination rate of HCO 3 - and CO 3 2- ions also increased gradually, and the desalination rate reached the highest when the pH was between 7.5 and 8.5. The effect of recovery rate on the conductivity of product water depends on the amount of salt permeation and the amount of product water. Generally speaking, an increase in the recovery rate of the system will increase the salt content in the concentrated water, and accordingly increase the conductivity of the product water.
