Alloy elbow is a kind of general designation of a variety of elbows, which is used to connect two pipes with the same nominal diameter to make the pipeline turn 90 ° or other angles.
It has a variety of materials, alloy elbow is widely used.
Production method:
1.Thermo forming
The forming process of hot pushing elbow is a process that uses special elbow pushing machine, core die and heating device to make the blank on the die move forward under the push of the pusher, and is heated, expanded and bent in motion. The deformation characteristic of hot push elbow is to determine the diameter of tube blank according to the law that the volume of metal material remains unchanged before and after plastic deformation. The diameter of tube blank used is smaller than the diameter of elbow. The deformation process of blank is controlled by the mandrel, so that the compressed metal flow at the inner arc can be compensated to other parts thinned due to expanding diameter, so as to obtain the elbow with uniform wall thickness.
2.Stamping forming
Stamping forming elbow is the first forming process used in batch production of seamless elbow. It has been replaced by hot push method or other forming processes in the production of elbow with common specifications. However, in some elbow specifications, due to the small production quantity, the wall thickness is too thick or too thin.
The product is still in use when it has special requirements. The tube blank with the same outer diameter as the elbow is used for the stamping forming of the elbow, and the press is used to directly press the tube blank in the die.
Before stamping, the tube blank is placed on the lower die, and the inner core and end die are loaded into the tube blank. The upper die moves downward and begins to press. The elbow is formed by the constraint of the outer die and the support of the inner die.
Stamping elbows are divided into cold stamping and hot stamping. Cold stamping or hot stamping are usually selected according to material properties and equipment capacity.
