Brushed motor vs brushless DC motors
Brushless motors have the advantages of brushed motors and are superior to brushed phones. Main features: low noise, long life, stable operation, no sparks, high efficiency, high dynamic response, strong reliability, etc.,
The application of permanent magnet brushless DC motors is increasing by about 15% every year. Under such circumstances, it is inevitable that brushless motors are gradually replacing other motors.
Four types of brushed motors
Permanent magnet:
This type of motor contains a permanent magnet that enables low torque.
This is useful for applications requiring precise control such as robotics or servo systems.
Series-wound:
In this type of motor, the stator is connected in series with the rotor and the speed is controlled by varying the supply voltage.
However, this type of speed control is rather poor: the speed drops as soon as the torque to the engine increases.

Shunt-wound:

This type of motor combines the structure of series-wound motors and shunt-wound motors.
