The EC type oil seal has a well-designed structure. It consists of a main sealing lip that is precision machined for optimum fit to the rotating shaft. The main sealing lip is designed with specific contours and angles to ensure a tight seal and minimize the risk of oil leakage. Next to the main sealing lip, a secondary sealing lip provides additional protection against contaminants such as dust and debris. The metal housing of the oil seal provides structural support and stability. It is usually designed with flanges around the edges to allow for easy installation and secure mounting within the engine.
Material
Rubber Material: Sealing lips are mainly made of high quality rubber such as Nitrile (NBR), Fluoroelastomer (FKM) NBR has good oil resistance and heat resistance up to 120°C. FKM has excellent heat resistance up to 250°C and excellent oil resistance.
Application
TB type oil seals are mainly used for sealing rotating shafts of mechanical equipment, such as gearboxes, hydraulic cylinders and motors. It can effectively prevent oil leakage and keep the equipment running smoothly. In the petrochemical, automotive and aerospace industries, it plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability and safety of equipment.
