MPO MTP Cable Overview

The MTP cable construction is a micro core cable which is very light and has a small bend radius and makes these MTP cables ideal for data centre applications where high quantities of fibre
cables are often required.
Fibre networks using MTP cables and MTP cassettes are very easy to install. Each MTP cable can connect MTP cassettes to offer from 12 fibres (6 LC ports) up to 144 fibres (72 LC ports). This approach enables a fast and clean installation and offers customers a way to build their fibre network as required; matching expansion costs to specific demands.

Application

Application within duplex 1G to 10G Ethernet networks

For these applications, MPO patch cables with 12 fibre connectors and 12 fibre cables are predominantly used. They are mainly located in distribution areas where high density patching fields are required. Using MPO patch cables as opposed to standard duplex LC – LC patch cables increases the patching density by a factor of six. Typically, these MPO patch cables will be polarity C and will have male MPO connectors and will connect to polarity C trunk/backbone MPO cables. The trunk cables will have MPO female connectors.

Application within duplex 25G Ethernet networks
This is the newest application for MPO patch cables. These cables use 8 fibre MPO connectors and 8 fibre cable and are used for BASE-8. although at the time of writing this application is in the early adoption phase it is projected to grow rapidly as more equipment is produced at 25G data rates.

Application within 40G and 100G SR4 or PSM4 Ethernet parallel transmission networks
Typically, these cables will use an MPO 12 fibre connector and 12 fibre cable. However, in the transmission of SR4 40G or 100G Ethernet only 8 fibres within these cables are used. The advantage of using 12 fibre cables (as opposed to 8 fibre) is that the cabling is often used alongside duplex 10G networking and so these cables can have multiple purposes and offer greater flexibility with negligible cost difference.

The three polarity methods Type A, Type B and Type C are used to guarantee the right bi-directional allocation.

7. Q : Whats your warranty ?

A : for patch cord , we have 2 years warranty since delivery , but only responsible for non-artificial damage . For artificial damage , we can repare it for you for free ,but freight will be paid by your side .

A : We are using international export package . attached some packing of different products for your reference . We also can print your logo on the packing

9. Q: Can you do OEM/ODM ?

A: yes , we can . We are manufacturer , all products are accept OEM /ODM . we can sign the Confidentiality agreement .

A: It depends on which products , for adaptor , attenuator ,patch cord , pigtail , we can provide a sammple for you for free . But freight repaid by your side .
