The main function of an endoscopic xenon arc lamp is lighting, which helps doctors perform endoscopic examinations and surgeries. Xenon arc lamps generate high-energy light through arc discharge, radiating light in all directions. They have high brightness and can clearly display the details and lesions of internal organs, thereby improving the effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment.
The working principle is based on the ionization of xenon gas and the emission of photons under the high temperature of the arc. After the xenon gas is ignited by the arc, the high-energy light generated radiates in all directions, forming a strong light source. Specifically, the xenon gas emits light by chemically reacting with rare metals triggered by positive and negative electricity. In the circuit of the xenon lamp, there are energy storage capacitors and high-voltage trigger circuits. When the voltage is applied to the electrodes at both ends of the xenon lamp, a long spark is formed and quickly becomes a high-density arc discharge, producing an extremely strong flash.
