Product introductioin:

A knife gate valve operates by permitting easy flow of thick media over soft seals with no obstruction. The media is cut up as it passes through the valve, which is how they function. These valves are meant to seat the blade into a soft seal without causing any disruption, although they have low-pressure restrictions. It closes completely against a soft sealing barrier by elevating a plate with a planar or “knife” edge out of the flow passage.
