Programmable AC power supplies can conveniently simulate various power supply states, distortion, and measure and analyze electrical characteristics.
The TPA-200 series programmable AC power supplies provide power electronics engineers with the capability to simulate various AC power supply conditions, power waveform distortions, and perform electrical characteristic measurements and analysis. This product offers accurate and effective test solutions to simulate a variety of normal or abnormal power phenomena while measuring and analyzing them. It serves as an integrated power testing and analysis device, fully adaptable for R&D characteristic analysis, production testing, quality assurance inspection, or integration into automated systems.
This series offers voltage programming from 0-300V and frequency from 15-2000Hz, making it widely applicable. In addition to supporting general commercial uses (47-63Hz), it can also be used for aviation, space, or military applications (400Hz). Its low-frequency output characteristics are suitable for testing motors or air conditioning compressors that require low-frequency start-up. The output is an exceptionally pure sine waveform, generally maintaining a distortion rate below 0.5%.
Equipped with a built-in Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) waveform generator, this series provides highly flexible waveform simulation capabilities. For example, it can set certain distorted waveforms to test the DUT, such as setting clipped sine waves with distortion rates ranging from 0% to 43% or amplitudes from 0% to 100%. Engineers can directly set the required power waveform via panel buttons in real-time and use the large LCD display for waveform preview or post-output current waveform monitoring. It can simulate waveforms like sine waves, square waves, and clipped sine waves, as well as simulate power interruptions, surges, phase angles, gradual rise and fall of voltage and frequency, etc. Additionally, this series includes a database of 30 sets of harmonic waveforms, providing engineers with immunity tests for power electronic products under harmonic power supply environments.
This series features high precision measurement functions for voltage, current, peak current, power, frequency, crest factor, power factor, surge current, apparent power (VA), reactive power (VAR), etc., enabling engineers to design, test, and analyze without relying on other testing equipment, easily completing any challenging testing tasks. It can also be paired with the TPM-300 series power analyzers to test IEC 61000-3-2 harmonic current limits and IEC 61000-3-3 flicker.
The TPA-200 series provides an easy-to-use front panel interface and analog signal control, along with optional interfaces such as GPIB and RS-232, making it easy to integrate into various automatic testing devices. The product itself has self-diagnostic programming and protection circuits for overcurrent, overpower, and overtemperature, ensuring stable functionality even in adverse operating environments.
