The 688 allows the attaching and simultaneous trimming of the body lining and shoulder pads.

Baste ironed shoulder pads
With a max stitch length of 9mm. the shoulder pads are basted into the armhole. Thus the volume of the shoulder pad remains unaffected
The switchable stitch loosening device prevents
squeezing when the shoulder pad is sewn through. Thus,the pad retains its volume and soft touch
The fullness value is mechanically adjustable and depending on hte application-it can be switched on in the upper or lower fabric by push button
Znd thread tension, 2nd foot stroke and 2d stitch length are switchable manually or automatically. A safe sewing start with low theread tension will be achieved by means of 2nd thread tension an in combination with stitch consensing
An automatic winding aid on the bobbin winder is included in the basic equiment of the machine . It is used for the safe and easy winding of the thread
