5.Operation process:
1. Surface preparation
Clean the car surface thoroughly to remove dirt, grease, rust and old paint.
Use sandpaper to polish the surface to increase the adhesion of the new paint.
Protect the areas that do not need to be painted with masking materials.
2. Mixing paint
According to the proportions specified in the paint product instructions, mix the paint, hardener and thinner accurately.
Stir well to ensure that the paint components are fully integrated.
3. Spray gun settings
Choose a spray gun suitable for car paint. Gravity spray guns are usually recommended.
Adjust the air pressure, paint output and spray shape of the spray gun.
4. Spraying skills
Keep the spray gun perpendicular to the car surface at a distance of about 15-20 cm.
Use a zigzag or overlapping spraying method. Each spray should cover 50%-60% of the previous one.
Start spraying from more hidden areas, such as the inside of the door and the inside of the hood.
Gradually expand outward and finally spray the conspicuous areas.
5. Multi-layer spraying
Multi-layer spraying is usually required, and appropriate drying time should be allowed between each layer.
The first layer is sprayed thinly, called "mist spraying", to increase adhesion.
Subsequent layers are gradually thickened until the desired color and gloss are achieved.
6. Drying and curing
Allow the sprayed car paint to dry naturally in a well-ventilated environment.
Depending on the type of paint and ambient temperature, the drying time may vary.
Some paints may require heat curing to enhance performance.
7. Inspection and finishing
After the paint is dry, check the surface for defects such as sagging, orange peel, particles, etc.
If necessary, lightly sand with sandpaper and re-spray finishing.
