Continuous Meal Cooler
The sturdy, no-fills cooler enables you to use ambient air to cool a broad range of meal products after they have passed through a dryer. Cooling helps make the processed cake more brittle, so it’s easier to mill.
Importantly, such cooling also enables you to make sure temperature are kept below 50℃ to prevent self-ignition. The cooler is basically a long drum equipped with an agitator mounted in roller bearing on the end plates. This moves the hot meal (usually 90-110℃) through the cooler, while a counterflow of cooler air is drawn through by a centrifuge fan. This cooler air can either be ambient air or air from suitable processes elsewhere in your plant, usually at approx 20-30℃ above ambient temperature.
Air-cooled, also known as water-cooled fan, is an evaporative cooling and ventilation unit that integrates cooling, ventilation, dust prevention, and deodorization.
Composition and function
It consists of a motor, a fan impeller, a water curtain shell, and a fan with an air inlet and an air outlet. The fan is also equipped with a water nozzle and a sewage pipe. Using high-efficiency "direct evaporative refrigeration" technology, the principle is that water absorbs heat energy during the evaporation process, that is, under the condition of constant enthalpy, it absorbs the sensible heat of the air and reduces the air temperature (dry bulb temperature). This phenomenon is widespread in our daily life. For example, when we stand on the beach and when the wind blows over water-stained skin, we feel particularly cool. This is the process of water evaporation, which absorbs the heat of the air, causing The result of a drop in air temperature. The cooling principle is: when the fan is running, negative pressure is generated in the cavity, so that the outside air flows through the porous and humid wet curtain surface to force the dry bulb temperature of the curtain air to drop to close to the wet bulb temperature of the outside air, that is, the outlet of the fan The dry bulb temperature is 5-12°C lower than the outdoor dry bulb temperature (up to 15°C in dry and hot areas).
